This update to Knee Decide enables users who have previously subscribed to access their subscriptions in the new Orca Health app. Simply sign up for an account, and use that account to login to the new app to access your subscribed content.

Existing subscribers can continue to use Knee Decide to access their content, but we strongly recommend switching to the new Orca Health app to take advantage of its enhanced features. After a brief period to allow existing subscribers to switch to the new app, Knee Decide will be removed from the App Store and existing subscriptions will no longer auto-renew. In-app subscriptions are entirely the purview of Apple via iTunes.

The new app provides a better user experience by seamlessly including the content from all Orca Health Decide apps, (Spine, Shoulder, Knee, Hip, Hand, Foot, Eye, ENT, and Dental) together in one app. In addition, the Orca Health app will be maintained and updated to take advantage of the growing features and capabilities of iOS. Users of the new app can purchase discounted subscriptions to multiple anatomical regions. Users can also favorite the diagnosis, treatments, and exercises they are most interested in. Furthermore, users who have iOS 11 installed on compatible devices will be able to view anatomy in augmented reality, or AR.

We thank you for your interest in Knee Decide, and apologize for any inconvenience caused during this transition. We hope that you will find the new Orca Health app to be worth it.

Pros and cons of Knee Decide app for iPhone and iPad

Knee Decide app good for

I just love this Application. This is educational app and help me to improve my knowledge about knee problem. My mother has knee problem and this app really help us to know more about knee its 3D anatomical model help us to understand better way. I would like to recommend this app to all.
This app help me understand the anatomy of the knee. I often go back to see the 3d procedural videos so that I keep remembering all the parts. I recommend this app for all medical students.
Doctor told me I tore my meniscus and then proceeded to scribble something unintelligible on a piece of paper. Left his office and downloaded this app. Now I understand. Looks like surgery for me.
3D modeling is the future of medicine and the patient and Doctor relationship. Its really great to see and understand whats happening.
Im not gonna lie, this app is pretty cool. Im in my residency in orthopedics and I use it all the time to explain common procedures to patients. Showing them a short 3D video of the surgery is a ton easier than trying to explain it in words. Would recommend to anyone, patient or provider looking to educate themselves and/or others.
***6.0 Update*** Given that this is such a rare condition, the doctors and other healthcare providers she talked to had difficulty explaining what it was, what it could do to her knee, what she could do about it or why she needed surgery. Now, this application doesn’t have a video that specifically talks about that particular condition (it’s rare, after all), but it does have an incredible 3D model that her last surgeon (the one who eventually performed the surgery) used with labels and different layers and whatnot to finally explain to her in a visual way she could understand, exactly what her condition was and why she needed the surgery. She was at peace with her decision and confident in the surgeon and after the surgery and good PT, she’s doing well. It’s amazing what a little education can do to improve someone’s health decisions.

Some bad moments

Very good what they Arme doing, gut no transperancy with the money. First you get it free than with an update it went to be paid, but this information is hidden and suddenly you have to make an account. By making the account you have to commit that you pay.... why????? is it so ??? It destroys the good appearance of the app. I deleted all ... and I am sorry about .
I bought this app in the past , wasnt free and now cant use it unless I get a subscription. Very disappointed on how Orca handle the transition and should reimburse costumer who bought their app and cant use it anymore.
I bought the spine one, then the shoulder one, then saw this one. I couldnt stop myself from buying it. "Its worse than pokémon.. gotta catch em all!" I bought it cause I like the shoulder and spine apps so much, even though I dont have any knee troubles. Its very fun for the medical enthusiast!
The Video Out feature is the best thing that came out for this app! With this feature I can easily teach my students about the new on a large screen! The 3d models are beautiful and the Find Your Condition section is very informative! A must by for any Medical Student, Professor or Doctor!
The motions and graphics of this app are amazing and really help me follow the movements of the knee. Recommended for all!
I dislocated my knee recently when I was helping someone move and the detailed picture of the knee in this app really helped me figure out what had happened and what to do about it. I really appreciate not having to spend hours looking for recommendations about my knee problem on the web and just finding the info in one place.
